The utmost care is taken with the selection of new employees, which is why we never advertise for help. All janitors are referrals from present staff, making a serious difference in the area of honesty, and reliability.  Most janitors are English and Spanish speaking.
 

Background check….., Drug testing

All applicants are referrals,  yet they still must undergo a criminal background check, via Florida Department of Law Enforcement (F.D.L.E) . There is also a mandatory drug test policy.  
 

Insurance….. Workers Compensation

All Yorkshire employees have workers compensation coverage, and all are bonded.
 

Supervision Is Key to Success

Supervision with frequent inspections has been the key to long term relationships with our customers. Our two senior supervisors, Leo and Janet Avalo joined Yorkshire Building Service in 1993.  Before we begin service they will familiarize themselves intimately with your facility.  It will be their job to oversee your account to ensure that all of your cleaning requirements and special needs are being met.  Our supervisors are available anytime for a walk through inspection.  
 

Training

All personnel, including janitors, supervisors and support staff, receive formal training both in person and via video.  After completion of training new staff receive our rules and regulations term employees.
 

Safety

Safety on the job is of paramount importance. New hires are formally trained in our Safety Practices class.  The combination of education and hands on training contributes towards attracting and retaining the best personnel. This ensures that our customers receive effective and reliable service from experienced workers.
